We’re a friendly, well-organized family in Berwyn, PA, seeking a warm, hardworking Housekeeper/Family Assistant to join our household team. If you love kids, dogs, and keeping an organized home clean and running smoothly, we’d love to meet you!
About Us
Our family includes two delightful children, ages 8 (B) and 12 (G), who are fluent in Spanish, and a sweet 1.5-year-old cocker spaniel. We value a clean, organized, and happy home environment and are looking for someone who shares these values to help with both household tasks and minimal afternoon childcare.
What We’re Looking For
Our dream candidate:
- Spanish-Speaking: Native Spanish speaker preferred, as we’d like only Spanish spoken with the children to support their fluency.
- Experienced and Detail-Oriented: Skilled in housekeeping, especially with high-end surfaces and appliances (we’re happy to provide training if needed).
- Loves Dogs: Comfortable caring for and spending time with our lovable cocker spaniel.
- Organized and Communicative: Excellent at planning, scheduling, and maintaining clear communication.
What You’ll Do
Housekeeping
- Keep the main house (5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms) and outbuildings (garage office and pool house/gym) clean and tidy.
- Maintain an already very organized home with high attention to detail.
Childcare
- Meet our 8-year-old son at the school bus around 4 PM.
- Provide a snack, assist with homework, and start dinner prep.
Dog Care
- Occasionally let the dog out into the fenced yard, as needed, and provide love and attention to our dog.
Other Responsibilities
- Run errands like trips to the dry cleaner or grocery store.
- Help with light cooking for the kids a couple of times a week and assist with meal prep for the family.
- Drive to activities as needed.
Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: Monday-Friday, Ideally10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Pay: $35/hour on payroll.
- Benefits: Paid holidays and four weeks of vacation.
- Ideal Start Date: January 2nd.

Position Requirements
- Work Hours: M-F, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Languages: Native or fluent Spanish preferred
- Experience: 05 Years of Experience
- References: Minimum of 2 References
- Background: Background check upon a contingent offer of hire

Position Compensation
- Salary: $35/hour on payroll, DOE, Negotiable for the right candidate
- Living Accommodations: Live Out
- Vacation: 4 weeks (2 weeks of the candidate's choosing and 2 weeks of the client's choosing)
- Additional Benefits: Paid Major Holidays
