What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper/nanny position at Household Staffing?
Job Title: Nanny/Housekeeper
Location: Armonk, NY
Hours: Monday - Friday, 12 PM - 8 PM (with some flexibility)
Pay: $30/hr
Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping: General cleaning and organization of a 6,200 sq ft home; assist with laundry and light meal preparation.
- Childcare: Support with children (ages 8, 7, and 4) primarily during after-school hours. Assist with simple meal preparations if kids are home. The mom is very involved with kids she does not work, she just need an extra set of hands. She is not looking for someone to take care of her kids and clean, it's either one or the other.
- Driving: Occasionally drive children or run errands (a valid driver's license is a plus).
Requirements:
- Experience in both housekeeping and childcare.
- Enjoyment and genuine affection for working with children.
- Reliable, organized, and proactive with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to adapt to family needs.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment with a stay-at-home mom who is actively involved with the children.
Additional Notes:
- The family has a deep cleaning service that comes in weekly.
- A car is available for use if needed.
