What are the responsibilities and job description for the Houseman / Driver position at Household Staffing?
Our client, a prominent couple residing in Livingston, NJ, is looking to hire an experienced Houseman / Driver.
Job Responsibilities:
- Must possess light knowledge in the repairs of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, HVAC/boilers, etc.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance associated with building, grounds, fixtures, lighting, etc.
- Inspect grounds, buildings, and other common areas daily to minimize any major repair concerns.
- Work with executive/family to incorporate outside vendors when necessary.
- Work with existing/new vendors to ensure quality of service.
- Provide light basic painting when needed.
- De-weeding in between landscaper visits
- Pick up bushes and trees on occasion for the landscapers
- Drive to various destinations upon request, with knowledge of various cities (tristate area) and efficient routes.
- Drive to airport for pick up and drop off (various hours) as needed.
- Assured that the vehicle is maintained in excellent condition and is cleaned regularly.
- Perform/schedule vehicle maintenance such as refueling, oil changes, etc.
- Run miscellaneous errands as assigned.
- Available to work overtime and on weekends if and when needed.
- Take the family dog )German Sheppard) to vet appointments and doggy daycare.
Requirements:
- Must have clean and valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check.
- Must be willing to work extended hours when needed.
- Must have verifiable references.
Work days / hours:
Monday - Friday
10am - 6pm
Compensation:
$75K - $80K
