Nanny/Housekeeper

Job Description: Nanny/Housekeeper for 15-Month-Old

Location: Port Deposit, MD

Compensation: $30/hour, health insurance, 401k

Schedule: 10am - 6pm

We are a warm, growing family seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeper/Nanny to care for our 15-month-old baby and assist with household tasks. This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to evolve as our family expands.

Responsibilities

Childcare:

• Provide loving, attentive care for our 15-month-old.
• Engage in age-appropriate, screen-free activities that encourage learning and development.
• Respect our family’s preferences regarding limited and specific screen time.
• Assist with feeding, diaper changes, and maintaining a consistent routine.

Housekeeping:

• Perform full cleaning of the home, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
• Handle laundry for the entire family, including washing, folding, and putting away clothes.
• Maintain a tidy home, including kitchen cleaning and organizing.

General Support:

• Work alongside a stay-at-home mom, providing additional support as needed.
• Collaborate with parents to ensure the baby’s needs are met seamlessly.
• Adapt as the role evolves with the addition of more children.

Requirements

• Experience working as a Nanny/Housekeeper in a family setting.
• Comfortable with and willing to care for three friendly dogs.
• Healthy, active, and able to keep up with a toddler’s energy.
• Calm, unflappable demeanor and excellent organizational skills.
• Warm, nurturing, and adaptable to the family’s needs.
• Non-smoker.

Additional Details

• No driving or errands are required for this role.
• Both parents are involved, with mom as a stay-at-home parent and dad working from home two days a week.
• This position offers an opportunity to grow with the family as more children are added.
