Nanny

Position: Nanny
Location: Miami, FL
Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 schedule (2 days one week, 2 days the following week, and 3 days the next week) due to split custody. Each day will require 10-12 hours of care. There will be guaranteed 30hrs/week whether the child is there for 2 days or 3 days.
Salary: $35/hour

About the Family:
A dedicated and hardworking father, recently divorced, is seeking a caring and experienced nanny to provide full-time support for his 2-year-old son. As the father owns his own company, flexibility and reliability are key to ensuring a stable and nurturing environment for his child.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and loving care for a 2-year-old, focusing on his physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to support the child’s growth and milestones.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Maintain a consistent daily routine, including naps, meals, and playtime.
• Handle diaper changes, potty training (as appropriate), and basic hygiene needs.
• Light housekeeping related to the child, including tidying toys, cleaning up after meals, and maintaining an organized play area.
• Communicate effectively with the parent regarding the child’s progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
• Assist with transportation to activities, appointments, or outings as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of professional nanny experience with toddlers.
• Ability to adapt to a rotating schedule with long working hours (10-12 hours/day).
• Strong understanding of early childhood development.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong references from previous families or employers.
• A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to childcare.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with families in a split custody situation.
• Background in early childhood education or relevant training.
• Willingness to travel with the family if required.
