What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Family Assistant (May - September) position at Household Staffing?
Private NYC family with a summer home in Bridgehampton, NY is looking for a Family Assistant to work May - September in the Hamptons. The family will consider a live-in or live-out candidate.
The work days are Thursday - Mon or Wednesday - Sunday 10am - 6pm. The desired candidate must be a good driver and be able to swim as the family has a pool on the property. There is a cat in the home also.
The Family Assistant will mostly be responsible for meal prep, some light cooking and assisting with kitchen clean up. The family cooks a lot of meals at home so assisting in the kitchen with mom and the rest of the family is big part of the job. Driving and doing food shopping, taking grandparents into town to run errands and other assisting responsibilities are part of the job.
If you are living in, you will have a private bedroom on a separate floor from the family. You will share the floor with the Nanny and where is a shared bathroom.
The Nanny is very polite and respectful :).
