What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Houseman position at Household Staffing?
A private family in Palm Beach is looking to hire a houseman and live in the summers in the Hamptons. Live-out 6 months in Florida and Live-in 6 months in NY. You will work Monday - Friday and help on the weekends and evenings as needed. Someone is flexible with their time during the week.
The Ideal Candidate: Will be a professional Houseman accustomed to working in fine homes and knows his place in the home. Someone who will mainly drive the principles, assist in cooking and barbecuing,(cleaning the barbecue after meals, errands, keeping the cars clean, all repairs done, and having the cars ready for the summer to go to the Hamptons.
You would go to the Hamptons a few days before the family and get the home ready before they arrive. While in the Hamptons, you will help with picking up the principal to the city and back, pick up the kids at the train station, and guests as needed.
They will be discrete and respectful when working in the residence. Have a good attitude, work independently, and be flexible to work extra hours as needed.
The current housekeeper will train and show you how things are done for the family.

Position Compensation
- Salary: $1,200 to $1600 a week (DOE)
- Live-in, you'll have your private room (in the Hamptons)...Live-out in Florida.
