Service Technician/Installer (local to Covington, GA)

Household Water Specialist, Inc. is a local, well-established, family owned and operated company that is looking to hire 1-2 service techs that can grow with us. Candidate MUST be local to Covington GA area to be considered.

Candidate must have some mechanical ability and at least have some understanding of how plumbing systems work.

Position Responsibilities:

• Trouble-shoot/service/install water filtration systems in residential and commercial settings
• Answer customers’ questions
• Other misc. duties

Must have the following qualities:

• Great attention to detail
• Proactive/Positive Attitude – Just doing what you’re explicitly asked is not enough. Must be able to anticipate, execute and work independently. In other words you’re a problem solver.
• Strong desire to serve people
• Must be professional

• Quick thinker/quick learner
• Excellent communicator
• Ability to mentally retain and quickly retrieve information
• Strong work ethic with a “make-it-happen” attitude
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs
• Must not be afraid to work in tight/dark spaces such as crawlspaces
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to show up to work consistently and on time
• Clean DMV and clean criminal record
• NO SMOKING
• Drug free workplace

Plumbing experience and previous service work is a plus but not required, we can train the right candidate.

This is a long term position and not meant for someone just looking for something to do in the meantime. We are not looking for someone just looking for a J-O-B!
