Duties:
- General reception duties including answering phones and greeting clients
- Draft correspondence and legal documents under the supervision of an attorney
- Organize and maintain case files and documents
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists
- Perform general clerical tasks such as answering phone calls, filing documents, and managing calendars
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an assistant or in a similar role
- Strong ability to communicate with clients
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of Clio or other document management systems is a plus but not required
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
