Position Overview
The Assistant Director of Marketing and Communication supports and contributes to strategic marketing efforts and outreach initiatives across the enterprise under the guidance of executive leadership. This role serves as a key link between various functional groups with the goal of advancing the company's presence in a competitive market through impactful communications that build brand loyalty, drive revenue, and strengthen the corporate identity.
This position is responsible for assisting with marketing strategy and execution; branding; content strategy; lead generation and supporting team development. The Assistant Director collaborates on long-term planning and contributes to integrating and implementing marketing activities for the organization. Assigned strategic initiatives may include campaigns like Net Promoter Score to enhance customer satisfaction and provide actionable insights for management.
Essential Functions
- Supports the development of the Marketing and Communication Services business unit through direct management of the team
- Partners with executive leadership to manage the annual budget and work plan
- Leads relationship building cross-departmentally and prioritizes work load for the Marketing and Communication Services business unit
- Contributes to enhancing customer experience, supporting revenue growth, and achieving valuable customer relationships across the organization
- Collaborates with product teams to develop sales materials, marketing collateral, advertisements, and promotional activities; participates in select external corporate marketing initiatives
- Gathers and interprets industry, market, and competitive intelligence to provide actionable insights for the organization
- Assists executive leadership in decision-making by helping define challenges, synthesizing information, and recommending actions
- Coordinates resources and logistics to accomplish marketing objectives; monitors and evaluates outcomes
- Monitors trends to anticipate and inform potential shifts needed to address evolving customer needs
- Creates, tracks, and analyzes customer experience metrics to monitor quality, satisfaction, and loyalty levels
- Assesses data to gain insights on customer preferences and performance trends, contributing to recommendations for improvement
- Delivers presentations and creates resource materials to communicate effectively with staff
- Engages with the HAI Group Board of Directors, Marketing Committee, and industry partners as directed
