Position Overview
The HAI Group IT-Product Management team is looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this position, you will act as a bridge between our financial operations and technical teams, driving the development and optimization of finance-related products and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and experience with Agile methodologies
The Finance Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for working with internal stakeholders to define the features needed, document business processes and use cases that lead to stories. This role will work closely with the business, the IT technical team and QA to ensure features are completed that meet business needs.
The Finance Business Systems Analyst will be accountable for the end-to-end planning and execution of one or more small to medium projects. They will work with others in the team to build expertise in the HAI Group financial system while taking ownership for career development opportunities.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with finance, business, and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the development of financial tools and software
- Work in close collaboration with multiple agile teams, overseeing integration and enabler efforts
- Drive alignment between stakeholder groups and coordinate any cross-functional dependencies.
- Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectationfor delivery of new functionalities
- Work with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value / ROI
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise in financial software or tools, working closely with technical teams to develop solutions
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations by making sure that the financial products adhere to relevant laws and best practices
- Facilitate key group meeting to ensure effective meeting outcomes and decisions, and best use of time
- Provide training and support to finance teams during product rollouts
- Facilitate measurement of program outcomes and production support through analytics
- Effectively manages business partner relationships during project and daily work tasks
- Accountable for content decisions for the agile teams
- Leads team in the successful delivery of IT solutions for the business
