Position Overview
Under general supervision of the Warehouse IC Manager, the incumbent performs a combination of Purchasing, receiving, storing, packing, handling, and shipping tasks. An incumbent is to ensure the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse goods. Their duties include receiving delivery of shipments, checking goods for damaged or missing items, storing warehouse goods and coordinating work orders from customers in an organized manner. The position also will perform administrative work to support the Maintenance work order process.
Salary : $34,840 annually, $16.75 hourly
Duties and Responsibilities

- Receives material from vendors, assists in unloading trucks.
- Receives and files written and electronic information regarding maintenance deficiencies from a variety of sources, including annual inspections, resident work order requests, and requests received by the answering service
- Purchasing of maintenance related goods
- Analyzes work orders to verify all necessary information is correct.
- Makes timely data entries into the computer.
- Communicates daily and frequently with appropriate HACG personnel regarding work order requests and completion
- Compare shipping documents against material received.
- Conducts physical inventory at property sites periodically.
- Transfers inventory between sites and issues out inventory as needed.
- Place material in proper bins or storage location.
- Assign item type number if required.
- Input incoming material into computer.
- Issue materials to departments / projects.
- Locate and pull materials from bin or storage location.
- Verify locations and inventory items within the warehouse on an as needed basis.
- Maintain a neat and orderly warehouse, free of trash, paper, boxes, and other items that could or would block aisles or create a hazard or unsafe condition.
- Maintains department records and reports; files and retrieves information.
- May contact vendors and contractors on back orders, special deliveries, exchanges, etc.
- Meets with vendors to acquire new products and place new orders.
- Assist the other personnel within supply on an as required basis, or as determined by the supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Required Knowledge and Abilities
Minimum Education, Training, and / or Experience
Graduation from a standard high school or vocational school with a minimum of one year’s experience in warehouse operations and inventory control. Must possess computer skills and working knowledge or ability to learn various windows software.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to operate a forklift and variety of automated office machines including computers, copiers, printers, calculators, etc. Must be able to work, move, or carry objects or materials such as files, computer printouts, reports, calculators, pencils, legal pads, etc. Ability to stoop, climb and kneel to gain access to work areas. Ability to work while walking or standing for extended periods of time.
Special Requirements
1. Possession of a valid driver’s license.
2. Must be insurable by Authority's Fleet insurance carrier.
