Maintenance Technician

Housing Visions Unlimited, Inc. is looking for great people to join our Maintenance team in Plattsburgh, NY! Housing Visions is a not-for-profit Developer, General Contractor, and Property Manager with a mission to be the catalyst for sustainable positive change in neighborhoods through real estate development and community collaboration. Based out of Syracuse, NY, Housing Visions works throughout Upstate New York and Pennsylvania.

This Maintenance Technician position a Full-Time benefits eligible position with hours being Monday – Thursday 7:00 am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:00am-11:00am. The office is located at 165 S. Main St. in Cortland. Must be available for rotating on-call for evenings and weekends. Pay range is $20-$23/hour.

The Maintenance Technician will perform a wide variety of maintenance tasks to include but not limited to:

• Electrical
• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• General building maintenance and repair functions related to the care and maintenance of Housing Visions residential units. 
• Occasional night and weekend hours; must take rotating on-call hours.
