Now, we’re looking for a strategic yet creative Marketing Manager to help us get students on board and make myhousr the app every student needs in their life.
The Role :
As our Marketing Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind all our growth initiatives. This is a hands-on role where strategy meets creativity—you’ll develop and lead marketing efforts that not only drive user acquisition but create excitement and buzz on campuses across the country. Your mission : build a student-first brand and drive growth like a boss!
Where We’re Based :
Our small, but growing team, is currently based out of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (Innovation Campus). As we’re an office-based team, we’re seeking someone who lives a commutable distance from the area.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Marketing Strategy : Help build and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to grow our user base across various on and off campus touchpoints
- Student Campaigns : Develop and lead highly engaging student-centric campaigns that resonate with the student lifestyle—from guerrilla marketing to TikTok challenges.
- User Acquisition : Own the growth funnel from awareness to engagement, using a variety of channels such as social media, paid ads, content marketing, and campus activations.
- Brand Awareness : Elevate the my housr brand to a household name on campuses. You’ll craft our voice and personality and make sure it’s consistent across all marketing touchpoints.
- Data-Driven Growth : Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts, optimise campaigns, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Partnerships : Develop strategic partnerships with campus organisations, influencers, and brands to drive organic growth and community engagement.
- Events : Help plan and execute on-campus activations like tailgates, parties, and campus pop-ups that drive app downloads and student participation.
- Marketing Project Management : Manage end-to-end marketing projects, from briefing to delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Stakeholder Liaison : Maintain a high level of professionalism when working with key internal and external stakeholders. Ensure clear communication, alignment on objectives, and regular updates on campaign performance
