Description
Being a Program Coordinator is responsible for community outreach and advocacy of youth populations and adult influencers; the role includes community mobilization, implementing violence awareness and safety curriculum/community engagement, providing administrative support, and acting as a point of contact for the program.
Your Schedule:
- Full Time
- Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Work Model: Hybrid
- Local Travel: 80%

- Annual Compensation: $55K
- Pay schedule semi-monthly

Qualifications
The Requirements We are Seeking:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Communication, Education, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Public Health, or other related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience coordinating and facilitating presentations, advocacy and/or outreach within community groups, agencies, and/or schools.
- A minimum of two years of experience working with diverse, vulnerable populations.
- Professional English, bilingual preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
- Computer savvy and able to learn new applications and systems quickly.
- Strong data-entry skills.
- You have a valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record; reliable transportation; ability to travel to off-site locations utilizing personal transportation.
What you Deliver in this role:
- You will coordinates and implements grant funded activities for youth and adult influencers.
- You will develop and maintain relationships within the identified community to create norms change by building community capacity.
- You will provide monthly and annual reports on programming. Point of contact with community members (youth and adult influencers). This role is the point of contact with partner agencies and grantors.
- You will travel to State and National Conferences and training as required by the grantor.
- You will do crisis intervention: provide crisis intervention to survivors of domestic and sexual violence as needed.
- You will mandatory Reporter: report suspected and prior abuse/neglect to either Child Protective Services or Adult Protective Services when appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
