Work Shift:
Day - 8 Hour (United States of America)A caring health system dedicated to excellence – today and tomorrow.
I. Position Summary:Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, assists with the care of all age groups of
patients. Assists in transport and/or positioning of surgical patients as assigned. Organizes
and cleans unit. Assists with unit inventory. Performs duties of OR Orderly as needed and
on call.
II. Qualifications:
A. Education & Training:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
B. Experience:
None.
C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
D. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent Patient Care skills. Able to effectively organize work assignments.
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with co-workers and a variety of
Health System personnel when transporting a patient. Ability to follow written
and verbal instructions. Must be able to utilize personal protective equipment
such as gloves, gown, mask, etc. Must be able to utilize personal protective

Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
