We're looking for a talented Fixed Operations Director.
The Fixed Operations Director will oversee the Service and Parts departments for all dealerships in the platform, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management as the platform Service & Parts Director, driving efficiency, profitability, and service quality in our dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise the Service and Parts departments for the dealership platform, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Mentor and develop department managers and staff (travel required), promoting ongoing training and professional growth.
- Implement and monitor service department processes to enhance workflow efficiency and customer experience.
- Analyze operational performance metrics and develop strategies for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Enhance customer satisfaction by addressing issues and resolving complaints effectively.
- Promote a customer-first culture, ensuring all team members understand the importance of exceptional service.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, focusing on cost control and revenue growth.
- Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to increase profitability.
- Oversee parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely ordering to meet service demands.
- Collaborate with Parts and Service teams to ensure seamless operations and availability of necessary components.
- Work with senior management to establish departmental goals and align them with overall dealership objectives.
- Develop marketing strategies for service promotions and parts sales to drive customer engagement and retention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or related field (preferred) or relevant dealership experience .
- Proven experience in automotive service management in a dealership setting.
- Automotive platform experience (multiple rooftops) highly desired.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and operational reporting.
- Knowledge of dealership management systems and software.
