Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Communications to develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication plans.
- Create engaging content for the school website, social media platforms, newsletters, and marketing materials.
- Design visually appealing graphics and marketing collateral using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Utilize AI tools to streamline content creation and enhance marketing efficiency.
- Manage and update the school's CMS and CRM systems.
- Develop and execute social media campaigns to increase engagement and brand awareness.
- Assist with the planning and execution of school events and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze marketing and communication metrics to assess effectiveness.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, representing Houston Christian High School in a positive and professional manner.
- Contribute to the vibrant life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications and Expectations:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in marketing and communications.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace.
- Advanced skills in Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Experience utilizing AI tools for content creation and marketing.
- Familiarity with school CMS/CRM systems.
- Proven experience in social media management and web marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
