Summary and relationship to the curriculum : All classified positions will strengthen the delivery of instruction to support the District's mission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conducts whole group, small group or individual classroom activities in accordance with specific program requirements.
- Helps with all aspects of the daily routine.
- Assists with supervision of students.
- Follows direction of the supervising teacher.
- Assists with student assessment, grading work and tests, and collecting data on student progress.
- Assists with routine record keeping.
- Assists with the preparation of materials for instruction.
- Assists with classroom housekeeping.
- Assists students with daily activities and school functions.
- Assists in ordering and inventorying classroom equipment and materials.
- Assists with school-wide supervision.
- Participates in Professional Learning.
- Performs other duties as requested.
