Automation Apprentice

HEI is seeking a highly motivated and eager Apprentice to join our dynamic Electrical Automation & Controls team!

In this rewarding role, you'll be part of a team responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cutting-edge electrical automation and control systems for our oilfield, industrial, and commercial sectors. What You'll Be Doing:

• Assisting licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems for oilfield, industrial, and commercial automation equipment.
• Interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements and execute tasks efficiently.
• Deepening your understanding of electrical control schematics, ladder logic, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) through on-the-job training and mentoring.
• Performing a variety of tasks, including wiring conduits, pulling wire, and installing electrical and control components with precision and accuracy.
• Contributing to a safe and productive work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and best practices.
• Building and assembling electrical automation & control components according to specifications and industry standards.
• Actively participating in ongoing training to enhance your knowledge of electrical systems, including industrial and commercial applications, and the latest advancements in automation technology.
