We are currently seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our Water Resources team in Fargo, ND.
Job Description
- Effectively use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design various project features.
- Prepare design computations and quantity estimates under the supervision of a licensed engineer.
- Assist in preparation of reports, specifications, plan creation, and permit applications.
- Interface with CAD designers and coordinate with other engineering departments on complex multi-discipline projects.
- Assist in client contact and communications.
- May include onsite construction observation duties.
Likely project areas include water resources design projects, including drainage, stormwater, flood control, levee/floodwall, hydraulic structures, and similar projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering, Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering, or related Engineering field.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with design team and clients.
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills.
- Solid communication and critical thinking skills, along with attention to detail.
- Positive attitude under pressure, strong team player, responsible and self-motivated.
- Valid Driver’s License and in good standing with periodic travel necessary.
