Inventory Coordinator - Optical

LOCATION: 10907 Memorial Hermann Dr. Suite 150 Pearland, TX 77584 May require some traveling to other offices as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY: Contributes to the organization by completing clerical inventory duties to include maintaining records and value of materials for the stockroom.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Fulfilling distribution center orders from Opticians
• Troubleshoot inventory questions
• Complete frame transfers between offices in system
• Conduct semi-annual inventories for DC and all optical offices
• Prepare and ship out returns
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Conduct cycle counts and maintains appropriate stock levels in distribution center
• Retrieve invoices and statements
• Trouble shoot inventory questions and discrepancies
• Prepare returns and inventory swap outs throughout the year
• Manage assigned inventory projects
• Prepare inventory discrepancy reports
• Assess and interpret reports within software program respective to inventory levels, purchase orders, fill rate, et al
• Cross train and instruct others on inventory processes on Acuitas software
• Work closely with A/P in reconciling invoices
• Flexibility to travel to other offices as needed
