Supervisory Responsibilities

- ☒ Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training and supervising team members
- ☒ Plan, assign and appraise performance; rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems
- Manages and supervises the day-to-day operations and functions of the Service department unit, including staff and related personnel
- As directed, responsible for training, developing, and mentoring staff and related direct report personnel, including recruiting and hiring new staff
- As directed, responsible for developing and implementing assigned goals and objectives for the Service unit (as directed by Vice President or Chief Commercial Officer)
- Responsible for addressing and resolving customer / client issues or complaints as required
- Creates and implements policies and standard operating procedures to deliver first-class, professional, customer service experience for all prospects, clients, and partners
- As directed, provides strategic vision, plans, and initiatives to ensure all department responsibilities are being executed efficiently, timely, and professionally
- Reviews, prepares, tracks, and executes, all financial responsibilities, requirements and related matters of the department (as directed by Vice President or Chief Commercial Officer)
- Provides direct or indirect support in preparing sponsor decks, proposals, sales pitches, presentations, recap reports, or other related materials or support (as assigned/directed by Vice President or Chief Commercial Officer)
- Responsible for leading the training, development, tracking, and utilization of all department technology resources, tools, and related systems (i.e., Monday.com, ZoomInfo, Sponsor United)
- Responsible for reviewing, tracking, and fulfilling all contractual commitments, obligations, and requirements for all organizational partners
- Conduct inter-departmental meetings to outline project priorities and expectations so department goals are achieved
- Consults with the Sales unit (and related staff) regarding any projects, duties, and/or responsibilities that need to be addressed, managed, fulfilled, and supported by the Service unit/team
- As directed or required, responsible for producing and/or executing all department obligations and responsibilities pertaining to events, programs, community initiatives, sponsor contracts, etc
- As directed or required, manage the development and coordination of all sales-related collateral materials and promotional items for the department
- As directed or required, reviews, and approves administrative items, i.e., travel authorizations, expense reports, collateral request, purchase orders, etc
- Supports and attends membership events, i.e., orientations and displays
- Gathers data and conducts research to identify areas of opportunity that align with department goals and objectives and/or assists in enhancing value to clients
- Other duties and special projects as assigned or required
- Bachelor’s degree in business related studies, preferred
- Minimum three years of experience in the sales, hospitality, and/or customer service industry
- Strong computer literacy with ability to use programs such as MS Word and Excel
- Highly organized, detail oriented
- Proven team leader with a prominent level of energy and motivation
- Coaching and counseling skills
- Strong oral, written and listening communication skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire team(s) to produce consistent and quality work
- Understanding, yet persuasive and decisive when dealing with others both inside and outside the organization
