What will I be doing?
- Research and catalog regulations, policies, and ordinances that impact land use and transportation
- Catalog model housing and multi-modal transportation practices, policies, and projects in the region and how they can be applied to the program
- Identify policies, regulations and best management practices that can advance Livable Centers principles and implementation
- Research funding opportunities and tools, such as regulations and policies, communities can use to implement different revitalization strategies. Assist with grant matchmaking
- Assisting in management of consultant contracts for Livable Centers studies
- Participate in one-on-one relationships with local Livable Centers sponsors and future partners throughout the H-GAC region
- Provide support to prepare presentations, maps, flyers, and web materials
Key Qualifications
- Skills and Requirements
- Experience with ArcGIS
- Basic understand of transportation planning principles
- Experience developing plan documents and managing report development
- Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to perform in a team environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Do you have…
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study
- 3 years of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, schools, or in job-related duties

- 5 years of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, schools, or in job-related duties
