What will I bedoing?

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Business Intelligence (BI) Senior Manager with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will drive data-driven decision-making by integrating cutting-edge AI solutions into BI strategies, transforming business insights into competitive advantages. You will lead a team of data analysts, BI developers, and AI specialists, ensuring the organization maximizes the use of data and AI technologies for strategic growth and operational efficiency.

üOversee the creation of a data warehouse / data lake from various departments.

üLead and develop the BI team in creating, maintaining, and improving data analytics, visualization, and reporting frameworks.

üDevelop the strategy for data value chain and predictive modeling in alignment with the organization's overall vision.

üIntegrate AI / ML tools into existing BI systems to optimize predictive analytics, automation, and forecasting capabilities.

üCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI-driven BI strategies with business goals and objectives.

üDesign, develop, and deploy scalable BI solutions that leverage AI to provide actionable insights and streamline processes.

üMonitor and analyze data trends and patterns, providing insights to senior leadership to drive business decisions.

üEvaluate and implement new AI technologies to enhance data extraction, processing, and interpretation.

üDesign the overall strategy for the organization's dashboards with meaningful KPIs and metrics.

üDesign ad-hoc intelligent environment to allow various department to drill down into greater details and discover what is affecting performance, uncover root causes, and identify trends.

üOversee data governance and quality control processes to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable reporting.

üStay abreast of industry trends and advancements in BI, AI, and machine learning technologies, bringing innovative solutions to the organization.

KeyQualifications

üStrong expertise in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and data warehousing modeling (e.g., dimensional).

üDemonstrated experience with AI and machine learning tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure ML, or similar platforms).

üAdvanced proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other relevant programming languages.

üProven track record of integrating AI / ML models into BI frameworks to enhance business decision-making.

üStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

üExperience in data modeling, ETL processes, and advanced analytics.

üA passion for innovation, with a strong focus on improving business processes through technology.

Do you have...

üBachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline orrelatedfield of study.

ü10years of experienceworking with local government, nonprofit programs, school or in job related duties.

Preferred Qualifications

üDegree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master's preferred).

üPMP certification.

ü10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related roles, with at least 5 years of leadership experience.

üMaster's degree in a relevant field.

üExperience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and working with large datasets.

üKnowledge of natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or other advanced AI applications.

üProject management experience in delivering end-to-end BI / AI projects.

üExperienceworking with transportation agencies, air quality or environmental agencies, or local or regional government, (MPO experience preferred).

üProfessional certifications or licenses such as CPA, CBA, etc. (Preferred).
