The Patient Account Representative is responsible for the billing and collections of all Houston Healthcare patient accounts. Record and generate variety of information pertaining to the patient revenue process. Accurate, high-performance level position requires certain degree of knowledge of complex rules and corresponding ability to apply these rules in the work environment to achieve desired outcomes. Responsible for processing all self-pay and insurance payments via electronic remits and lockbox. Corrects misapplied payments. Distributes petty cash. Balances general ledger daily. Review remits and EOB’s for accuracy of posting and adjustments
Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
