Duties
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide behavioral therapy and interventions to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care
- Monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of services provided
Experience
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working with children and/or adults with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and techniques
