SUMMARY
The Material Handlers will be responsible for operating a forklift; (standing or seated forklifts), while maintaining safety and efficiency. As a member of the HJI Team your success is measured with daily practice of our Core Values:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the HJI operation
- Inbound scanning of materials into Insequence and placement into location
- All assigned commodities staged accurately adhering to HJI process to perform scanning
- Stacking commodities in correct storage locations, following inventory instructions
- Perform daily equipment checks
- BOL processing
- Examine commodities to verify conformance to HJI Quality Standards
- Know and perform all duties with HJI Quality & Safety Standards in mind
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous forklift experience, preferred
- Must pass driving observation and written test
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional operation of forklift
- Warehouse experience in fast-paced environment, preferred
- Basic oral, written, and numerical communication skills
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote safe work environment
- Ability to use RF scan guns and system equipment.
