Houston Marriott Westchase Hotel is looking to hire a an experienced Hotel Maintenance Engineer ll to join our team!

Position Summary : As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer ll, you play a crucial role in performing preventative maintenance, perform basic repairs on all types of equipment, and coordinating with the maintenance staff in diagnosing potential problems that ensures an attractive and well-maintained hotel.
This individual is a proactive solution seeker, leading by example, and continuously encourages and engages team members both in the FOH and BOH. The successful candidate has a can-do attitude and will jump in where assistance is needed.
We are a large high-rise hotel with a combined footprint including parking of 16 acres, and as the General Building Maintenance Engineer you will be expected to survey and inspect the hotel and property daily, while maintain guestrooms and back of house areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades, including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and masonry.
Scheduling : This is a Full-Time position that requires the availability to rotate between AM and PM shifts, various days of the week - schedules will change weekly and will include a combination of weekdays and weekends based on business demands.

The hotel operates seven (7) days a week and twenty-four (24) hours per day. All employees, both management and hourly, should be aware of this fact and that at times it may be necessary to move employees from their accustomed shift as business demands, and assist in other departments and / or job functions as needed and requested by management.
