Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist II position at Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive therapy plans for various diagnoses and acuities. This experienced therapist will provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers, collaborate with interprofessional team members, and deliver exceptional patient care while ensuring optimal safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to develop tailored therapy plans that address diverse diagnoses and acuities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve specific patient goals and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Provide personalized education to patients, family members, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and best practices.
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- At least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist or completion of HM or comparable Physical Therapy Residency program.
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Texas or compact license acceptable according to current ECPTOTE requirements within 90 days.
- Demonstrated expertise in assessing, treating, and educating patients across various populations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Working Conditions:
This full-time role requires working Monday through Friday, with standard business hours. Travel may be required within the Houston Metropolitan area.
