Job Description:
The Physical Therapist II (PT II) position is a critical role at Houston Methodist, responsible for evaluating and developing therapy plans for patients with various diagnoses and acuities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to identify their level of function and develop treatment plans
- Provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers on learning needs
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to modify treatment plans and achieve patient-specific goals
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved physical therapy education program
- Two years of experience as a Physical Therapist or completion of HM's Physical Therapy Residency program
- BLS certification and state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas

- Advanced training and education in specialized areas of physical therapy
- Experience working with complex patient populations
