Opportunity : Position Overview :
Houston Methodist, a nationally recognized, award-winning healthcare organization, is seeking a skilled Advanced Gastroenterologist to join its dynamic team at the Texas Medical Center. This position provides a unique opportunity to work with the #1 Hospital System in TX (recognized by U.S. News & World Report ) providing high-quality patient care while engaging in clinical research and academic teaching.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide expert clinical care in advanced gastroenterology, including management of complex gastrointestinal conditions, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions.
- Perform advanced endoscopic procedures such as ERCP, EUS, and EMR.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient care, contributing to innovative treatment plans and ongoing clinical trials.
- Participate in education and mentorship of medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
- Engage in and contribute to the development of research initiatives in gastroenterology.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the gastroenterology division within Houston Methodist.
