Job Title: 3D Advanced Image Visualization Specialist
The 3D Advanced Image Visualization Specialist is responsible for driving innovative and clinically relevant MRI or CT techniques from concept to prototype and final clinical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as the liaison and primary point of contact between management, staff, and physicians for routine matters;
- Ensures optimal patient safety, quality outcomes, and customer service;
- Develops and implements quality improvement activities;
- Trains, mentors and develops staff providing feedback on staff performance and/or development needs;
- DIRECTING AND PARTICIPATING IN SPECIAL PROJECTS;
- COLLECT, ANALYZE, AND REPORT ON DATA AND METRICS;
- PROMOTES A POSITIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT;
- Collaborates with all members of the patient care team by actively communicating and reporting pertinent patient care information and data in a comprehensive manner.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certificates, Licenses and Registrations section;
- Bachelor's degree in a Science related field is preferred;
- Six years' experience in medical imaging as a radiologic technologist with specialty training and experience in an advanced modality (Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound Imaging), with 3 years in advanced Cardiac Computed Tomography and/or processing OR 5 years in advanced Musculoskeletal Imaging and/or processing;
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) OR Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography (ARRT) AND demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations;
- Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language necessary to perform the essential functions of this job, especially with regard to activities impacting patient or employee safety or security;
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and application of positive language principles;
- Possesses basic computer knowledge; operates multiple computer systems to include, Hospital / Radiology Information Systems and Office software to maintain patient and exam documents;
- Adapts to multiple ongoing priorities with minimal supervision including, organizing workflow, and actively participating in problem solving;
