Job Description
The Echo Sonographer I position is an entry-level sonographer who performs routine echocardiograms, including Transthoracic Echocardiogram (TTE) with Color and Spectral Doppler imaging, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Plain Stress Echocardiogram or Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram, TTE with bubbles and contrast, and advanced TTE studies.
This role involves locating, evaluating, and recording anatomical, pathological, and functional data using ultrasound equipment. The Echo Sonographer I transmits exams to compatible DICOM storage applications, processes technical data in designated interpreting systems, and communicates significant findings to attending physicians.
