At Houston Methodist, the Digital Communications Analyst is responsible for the content, maintenance, analysis, configuration, testing, and support for academic areas of the internet, intranet, and academic communications application system including upgrades, new releases, and optimization. This role requires the daily usage of CMS systems including Sitecore and WordPress for routine updates and net new site / page building. This position requires ongoing versatile collaborations with teams and, if assigned, support on projects acting as a liaison between internal health professionals, IT developers, third-party software providers, and business owners. The position will support the Sr Digital Communications Analyst with ad-hoc projects on an as-needed basis.
PEOPLE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides technical assistance to staff and often performs as a subject matter expert.
- Acts as liaison between the customer and the technical team. Identify and validate business objectives, and generate solutions that align with Methodist's technology strategy and standards.
