- Perform patient check-in and check-out functions, including obtaining and inputting accurate scheduling and registration data.
- Coordinate patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient processing of patients.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to requests and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Assist with revenue cycle functions, including registration, scheduling, and insurance verification.
Requirements
- Five years of experience in a related role within healthcare, including three years of experience in a patient services or registration role.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and electronic medical record systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and revenue cycle components.
