Job Summary:
Join a dynamic team where your expertise in PACS/RIS systems will directly impact patient care and operational efficiency. You'll manage doctor assignments, system analysis, and maintenance of our advanced Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS). You'll also collaborate with referring doctors, imaging centers, and hospitals, ensuring timely and accurate radiologist reports and image access.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain and optimize PACS workflows, adhering to established procedures.
- Ensure compliance with department, facility, and regulatory policies.
- Act as a liaison between radiologists and clients, resolving issues and ensuring efficient report delivery.
- Support system users by addressing operational concerns using both internal and external resources.
- Assist with processing and data entry of external images for interpretation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations/guidelines.

Educational and Skills Requirements:
- High School graduate; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge.
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient radiology experience (medical imaging).
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respond professionally to inquiries.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
