Full-time Description
Role
Provides IT support services to staff. Keeps computing systems operating efficiently and ensures that computing standards are implemented and enforced; Troubleshoots and resolves system problems and assists with project implementation. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, manage time effectively, maintain control over all current projects/responsibilities, follow up on all relevant issues. May perform other duties as assigned.
Major Duties And Responsibilities

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Workstations (Desktops/Laptops) and all other computer related systems, devices and equipment (Printers, Scanners, etc). Maintain documented resolutions, operating procedure and equipment inventory.
30%
Respond to internal inquiries and help desk tickets. Develop solutions for common technical problems and component failures in user computing environment to deliver a sound and stable user experience, providing exceptional support while demonstrating a sense of priorities.
10%
Assists with management or administration of assigned servers or applications.
10%
Assists with management of user accounts for network and applications. Make certain proper permissions are maintained within applications.
10%
Assists with various IT projects as assigned

Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills
Experience
Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
Preferred Skills
A high school degree or GED is required.
Interpersonal Skills
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving and obtaining information, as well as advising or referring, which commonly require shorter discussions. Must be able to work independently, show initiative and manage time.
Other Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 5 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must by capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise.

Must be able to perform job functions with supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various instructions and follow oral instructions.
