Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director of Development at Houston Public Media. The Director of Development will be responsible for overseeing planned giving and annual giving programs, managing philanthropy efforts, creating and maintaining budgets, and leading fundraising initiatives. The role is located in Houston, TX, with some work from home flexibility. The Director will work to foster relationships with donors, create strategic fundraising plans, and ensure financial goals are met.

Qualifications
- Experience in Planned Giving and Annual Giving
- Skills in Philanthropy, Budgeting, and Fundraising
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
- Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, or related field
