What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intensive Care Unit Nurse Practitioner position at Houston Pulmonary Medicine?
The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for the delivery of patient care utilizing established guidelines and protocols. The successful candidate for this role will have extensive training as an Intensive Care Nurse Practitioner as well as three to four years of ICU RN experience. The ideal individual will be able to recognize subtle signs of abnormalities in critical-care patients and use their knowledge and expertise to initiate necessary treatments.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' conditions and implement treatment plan.
- Provide care for patients with acute and chronic illnesses., with supervision from a physician.
- Perform minor surgical procedures.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.

Pay: $110,304.00 - $120,581.00 per year
