Essential Functions of the Position:
- Review staffing models and workflows for the Wellness Clinic.
- Review equipment and supplies for the operating model.
- Assist with pricing structures, revenue and expenses, break-even analysis, projections.
- Develop and implement SOPs for training and operations.
- Manage the public wellness clinic staff and operations.
- Assure that proper cleaning procedures are followed in the Wellness Clinic regarding cages/kennels and public areas, and that they are sanitized and maintained according to Houston SPCA policy.
- a culture of continuous learning and teamwork by mentoring staff and encouraging professional development.
- Interface with all department managers within the Houston SPCA as needed for the purposes of departmental growth and collaboration.
- Use strong problem-solving and customer service skills to ensure positive client experiences and smooth clinic operations.
- Update Chief Animal Welfare and Medical Officer on areas of interest and/or concern.
- Create monthly departmental performance statistics reports.
- Opening and/or closing duties of the Wellness Clinic.
- Provide information to the public about Houston SPCA programs and promoting good animal care and responsible pet ownership.
- Protect all confidential information, including customers, donors, animals and internal communications.
- Represent the Houston SPCA by providing excellent customer service and focus.
- Collaborate with the Education and Community manager to execute animal wellness services community events.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
