Basic Function: Oversee the production, shooting, and editing of long-form digital video content, including podcasts, digital content series, and Texans Radio content. This role is critical in enhancing fan engagement, expanding revenue opportunities, and optimizing content production efficiency.
Job Function (Duties & Responsibilities):
- Lead the end-to-end production of serial digital content, including filming, editing, post-production, and creation of promotional content clips
- Oversee podcast production, ensuring high-quality audio and video content that resonates with fans and is responsive to feedback from fans and key metrics
- Manage the Texans Radio content pipeline
- Collaborate with Digital Media Manager to execute full episodic content production process, from brainstorm and pre-production to post-production and ancillary content development
- Collaborate with the digital, social, and video production teams to maximize distribution and engagement
- Identify opportunities for sponsorship integration and other monetization strategies
- Innovate content formats and production techniques
Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Director of Digital Media and Sr. Director of Digital Media and Content Distribution.
Subject to reasonable accommodations, position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.
Skills Required:
- Advanced proficiency in shooting, editing, lighting, audio and post-production (Adobe Premiere or similar)
- Experience leading multi-camera podcast or interview productions is preferred
- Passion for football, sports media, and digital storytelling is a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality content in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to independently track and iterate approach based on analytics and clear annual KPIs
- Demonstrated ability to use creativity from conceptualization to production
- Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities
- Display strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain solid working relationships
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work all games, including those on evenings, weekends and holidays and willingness to work additional non-game events as needed
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software
Education/Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university is preferred.
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum four (4) years working professionally in a video production, content creation or digital media field.
