Job Summary

Responsible for the quality production of cakes, tarts, cookies, creams, custards, sauces, and plated desserts. Work should be consistent and produced in a timely manner.

Qualification Requirements

Must have a minimum of 2-years experience working in pastry.

Essential Functions

• Prepares all pastries according to recipe standards.
• Maintain highest quality and appearance of all items sent from pastry shop.
• Responsible for plating and garnishing all banquet desserts.
• Keep all food rotated, dated, and labeled.
• Maintain a safe, organized and sanitary work area.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

To perform the duties of this position successfully, an employee is required to execute the essential functions of the job. Employees in this position will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, where there is typically a moderate to loud noise level, work is performed in extreme temperatures, and floors surfaces may be slick.
