Job Summary
The Steward maintains a clean, sanitary, appealing dining environment in a high traffic members-only Fitness club.
Knowledge and Skills
The steward must have a complete understanding of and ability to perform standard food sanitation practices.
Education and Work Experience
High School Education. Previous Stewarding experience from restaurant or Hotel Service preferred.
Tasks / Responsibilities
Steward is responsible for washing and maintenance of dishes, pans, utensils, and food service items. Steward maintains a safe, sanitary, clean work area. Steward refills sanitation packets daily. Steward retrieves and delivers food items and supplies to and from various areas on the Campus. Steward empties trash, removes and disposes of trash and recyclable materials to appropriate dumpsters. To maintain cleanliness and floors at refuel café, take out trash and to make sure the area is cleaned.

To perform the duties of this position successfully, an employee is required to execute the essential functions of the job.

Employees in this position will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen and restaurant environment, where there is typically a moderate to loud noise level, work is performed in extreme temperatures, and floors surfaces may be slick.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand and bend for long periods of time, the hour of work varies upon business.
Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
