Training and Development Specialist

Howard Air & Plumbing is a leading HVAC solutions provider, committed to delivering high-quality products and services. As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a Training and Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive training to company employees, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to follow processes effectively, deliver exceptional client experiences, drive sales opportunities, and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and deliver engaging training programs on HVAC systems, products, and solutions.
  • Train new hires and provide ongoing development to existing employees on following established processes, improving technical knowledge, enhancing client experience, and driving customer retention.
  • Create and maintain training materials that promote client satisfaction, foster long-term relationships, and drive revenue.
  • Conduct weekly in-person training and ride-alongs with technicians and sales reps, providing feedback to improve performance.
  • Monitor adherence to processes in the field, ensuring excellent client experiences, loyalty and revenue growth.
  • Encourage and train technicians to identify sales opportunities, engage clients, and drive revenue through additional HVAC solutions and services.
  • Stay current on industry trends, new products, and technologies to ensure the team is always equipped with the latest knowledge and best practices.
  • Collaborate with management and leadership teams to ensure training objectives align with company goals, operational processes, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications :

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, products, and industry standards.
  • Ability to effectively train employees to follow operational processes, improve customer interactions, and identify and capitalize on sales opportunities in the field.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, especially in client-facing situations.
  • Ability to adapt training methods to various learning styles and team needs.
  • Comfortable with technology and training platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Pay Range

    75,000—$85,000 USD
