JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist the Sr Director of Marketing & Technology and Creative Manager with client RFP responses and general marketing, social media marketing, internal communications, and brand awareness efforts. The Marketing Coordinator will work semi-independently in the Los Angeles office with LA-based Project Management Teams while coordinating with other Marketing staff in our Orange County office.
This is a non-exempt position as defined by the Fair Labor Standards Act and subject to overtime.
ROUTINE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create client RFP responses using Adobe InDesign and similar software to fit Project Team and Client requirements.
- Develop and update project and personnel-related marketing material for use in proposal/qualification packages.
- Create and edit marketing material and company forms (electronic and print).
- Write copy for company experience, employee bios, award submissions, web/newsletter content, miscellaneous brochures, and as-needed marketing content.
- Create social media outreach and produce content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube as well as research and keep up with future social media apps.
- Edit existing marketing database used to track projects and opportunities. Issue bid and job numbers. Follow up with Business Development and Project Management Teams for weekly updates.
- Assist with website content as needed (ie: post new photos, career opportunities, company news, etc.).
- Provide general support to the Marketing and Business Development departments (ie: attend weekly Marketing and Business Development team meetings, general administrative tasks, etc.).
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Required software knowledge: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft CRM (cloud database).
- Experience with graphic design, layout, and creative content using InDesign is required.
- A degree or relevant coursework in a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in Marketing preferred.
- Excellent communication and writing skills are required.
- Effective proof-reading and editing skills are also a must.
- Detail oriented and able to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently as well as with various internal teams to gather marketing information.
Salary : $26 - $39
