Medical Assistant
Facilitate client care delivery by supporting nurses, medical providers, and the clinical team in both clinical and administrative capacities.
Responsibilities :
Triage and manage patient questions
Prepare patients for office and / or telehealth visits
Obtain vital signs & verify medication lists
Communicate medical / health information between patients and medical providers
Manage lab results
Supports use of office, electronic health record, and other technology by program staff
Maintains departmental records
Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of accredited Medical Assistant training program or combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired
One year of Medical Assistant experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Driver's license and use of a personal vehicle
Structure :
Full time (37.5 hrs), Scheduled hours between 6am-2pm
AFSCME Union (dues will apply)
Starting at $22.30
