General Responsibilities
As the Math Resource Center, the receptionist works with the manager, tutors, and the students to support the day-to-day operations. The receptionist is the first point of contact for the center. The receptionist's duties include offering administrative support to the manager and the tutors. The receptionist welcomes and directs visitors to the center.
Work Performed
- Welcomes visitors by greeting and directing them based on their needs
- Maintains the tutoring attendance of students
- Maintains the paper log sheets of student tutors
- Maintains the supplies and materials needed in the center
- Assists tutors and students navigate the center
- Maintains security by following and enforcing procedures and rules of the center
- Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
