What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waiver Worker position at Howard County Children's Center?
The Client Trainer/Waiver worker is directly responsible to the Supported Living Coordinator. The worker will train and reinforce skills worked on by the parents of the minor waiver individuals. Will also assist waiver individual with daily living skills that the waiver individual may be unable to perform independently. Will transport waiver individual to and from activities necessary for living in the community. Will document activities and make necessary reports as required by funding agencies and by Howard County Children’s Center. Client Trainer will work Monday-Friday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. directly supporting one client with life skills. The Director has established this position as Safety-Sensitive.
