The Howard County Library System (HCLS) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead our Summer STEM Educational team. This role involves overseeing a team of instructors and registration personnel to deliver high-quality STEM classes and a culminating end-of-summer event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the Summer STEM Educational team, ensuring effective delivery of programs.
- Ensure classes are engaging and meet the goals
- Approve time cards and monitor the program's financial performance to keep it on track.
- Collaborate with HCLS staff members to enhance program activities and ensure alignment with educational goals.
- Capture and analyze student feedback to continuously improve program offerings.
- Lead activities and step up for end of summer culminating event.

- Must have a Bachelor of Science or Arts in STEM OR STEM Education field; must have demonstrated experience working in a STEM career or teaching STEM curriculum
- Must have 5-7 years experience working/engaging with teens
- 3 years supervisory experience
- Passion for managing teams and teaching STEM topics
- Extraordinary customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly and perform under tight deadlines

- (8:00 am -5:00 pm)
